Wednesdays: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month: 9.30 a.m. – 1pm, with adjoining Sundays 9.30am – 3pm.

THE LIBRARY
The Guild has a comprehensive library of reference books, journals and DVDs. All books are available for members to borrow for up to two weeks. Please consult the card catalogue which is kept in the library cupboard. MATERIALS & TOOLS FOR SALE
For the benefit of members, the Guild offers a small but comprehensive array of bookcloth and papers, including Hahnemule papers on consignment from Barbara Schmelzer. Needles, linen thread, bone folders, headbands and awls are also in stock. Kindly write a receipt and leave payment in the cash box in the front press.

MONDAY NIGHT BOOKBINDING
Carolyn Kenney is the convener of this group which offers friendly advice on binding. The hours are 5.30 to 8.30 p.m. during the weeks of school term. The usual Bindery fee of $5.00 per session applies unless you have paid the annual Bindery fee. To ensure a class will be held, please check with the Monitor, David Edmonds on edmonds_david@yahoo.com.au.

FIRST TUESDAY CLUB FOR BOOKBINDERS
If you would be interested in coming to the Bindery on the first Tuesday of the month please contact Margaret Scott at trevorwill@bigpond.com.

The usual fee of $5 applies unless you have paid the annual fee for workshop use.

BEGINNERS’ CLASSES
The Guild runs regular Beginner Workshops through the Sydney Community College. The aim of these weekend courses is to familiarize students with the necessary knowledge and skills to start them on a journey to make their own books. The workshops are run at the Guild’s professionally equipped bindery in the Writers’ Centre at Rozelle.
