About the event

Many books fall apart in the same way! In this demonstration of book and paper repair techniques you will learn about the basic structures of modern paperbacks and hardcover case-bound books. We will look at the most common breakages and how to repair them. We will also demonstrate simple paper repair. We don't use sticky tape!

The books being repaired are from the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts Library (SMSA) https://www.smsa.org.au/library
