DESCRIPTION:
The Simplified Binding developed by Sün Evrard in 1984 has a streamlined look. This is an elegant, versatile binding which has applications ranging from basic simple notebooks, restoration as well as fine design bindings.
It provides you with many options as the leather spine assembly is made and affixed to the bookblock before the boards. This split process of making the cover allows for many opportunities in the design.
The workshop will focus on fine binding techniques and leather paring.
Comprehensive notes will be supplied. A tool kit list will be forwarded upon enrolment.
